Types of Powder Brows Aftercare

Wet Healing
(Best if you are very active or have dry skin or are prone to scarring)

Day of appointment

Every 15 Minutes for the first 2 hours.   Set an alarm if useful!

Using a water wipe (fragrance, alcohol and paraben-free), gently wipe your brows from the outer point to the inner bulb then back the other way.  This ensures that you are removing any buildup of lymph or dirt that could cause uneven healing and excessive scabbing.

Do not apply any ointment on day 1.

Cleanse before bedtime using the method above.

Ensure you don't touch or fiddle with your brows at all!

Days 2-10

Morning and Evening.  2 times per day.

Gently pat and clean your brows with a water wipe (fragrance, alcohol and paraben-free). Then gently pat dry them with a clean cloth or cotton pad.  Apply the ointment, 'Bepanthen Scar Treatment' or the aftercare supplied in a thin layer.

After 10 days you can wash your face normally

Am I Allowed to Shower After the Appointment?

Yes, you can take a shower but you will need to keep it short. Because steam and vapour can damage your powder brows. Try to keep the shower duration under 5 minutes with warm water not hot.

How Do I Maintain My Powder Brows Once They Are Healed?

After 10 Days gently care for your brows as you normally would.

Powder brows are a semi-permanent makeup technique, so it is supposed to fade after a certain time.

Future Maintenance

You can decide on a schedule with your makeup artist to keep your brows looking fresh. If you do a touch-up regularly ie, every 18 months or so your powder brows can last well.

Some people might notice that their powder brows fade faster than other people’s. That is perfectly normal. The speed of fading depends on your skin type, lifestyle, and your overall system.

Dry Healing
(Best if you have oily skin, and a busy lifestyle)

Freshly done powder brows should be kept dry and only due to extreme itchiness, you can use small amounts of ointments if absolutely necessary.
