Before your Appointment

Step 1. Ensure you are eligible for a Permanent Makeup Treatment

Two to Four weeks before your appointment

  • Avoid chemical peels at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.

​

  • You must stop using Retinol 2 weeks prior to your appointment and avoid using it for the 2 weeks following your appointment.

​

  • If you get Botox regularly please get that done no later than 2 weeks before your appointment. This is to ensure we can make your brows as symmetrical as possible.

​

  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before and after your procedure. Do not come to your appointment with a sunburn. In this case, email us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule

Step 1. Ensure you are eligible for a Permanent Makeup Treatment

The Days before your appointment

  • If you regularly get your eyebrows shaped, waxed, threaded, or tinted, please do so at least 3 days before your appointment.  If you wear lash extensions these will need to be removed before Eyeliner Procedure.

  • Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or any blood-thinning medication 24 hours before your appointment.

​​

​​NOTE: If you plan to go on a vacation or have a special event, it is recommended to plan a minimum of 10 days after the procedure due to the aftercare maintenance.

The Day of your appointment - Important!

  • No Coffee or Caffiene On the day of your appointment

  • No Alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment

​

  • ​Please wear your makeup as you normally would so Janette can take this into consideration with the shape you desire.

​

  • Please bring a water bottle and your usual makeup to your appointment.  

​

  • You will need to have your phone on silent during the procedure.​​
